Clipping campaigns: what they are, where to find them, what they pay

What a clipping campaign is, where they are posted (Content Rewards, Vyro, Clipping.net, Discord, MetaClip), how per-view pay works, and what to check first.

Updated ·

In short

  • A clipping campaign is a budget a brand, streamer or game studio puts up to pay creators per 1,000 views of short clips they post on their own TikTok, Reels or Shorts accounts.
  • They are posted on marketplaces (Content Rewards, Vyro, Clipping.net, MetaClip for Roblox) and announced in Discord servers of 10,000 to 121,000 members.
  • Listed rates: $0.45 to $2 per 1,000 views on Content Rewards, $1.50 and $2.50 on Vyro listings, $0.25 to $2 on MetaClip’s live Roblox campaigns on 22 October 2026.
  • What a clip earns is floor(views ÷ 1,000) × rate, minus the platform’s fee, up to any per-clip cap. On MetaClip the median approved clip earned $1.20 (230 clips, 22 October 2026).
  • Before joining, check that the rate, cap, earning window, fee and payout method are written down, and who funds the campaign.

What is a clipping campaign?

A brand, streamer, app or game studio funds a budget and sets a rate per 1,000 views. Creators, called clippers, cut short clips from the footage or gameplay the campaign supplies or allows, post them on their own TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts accounts, and submit them. The platform reads each clip’s views and pays the rate on the views that count, until the budget runs out.

How does clipping campaign pay work?

A clip earns floor(views ÷ 1,000) × the rate, so views count in whole thousands and a clip under 1,000 views earns nothing. Campaigns can cap what one clip earns, and the platform takes its fee from the gross. At $1 per 1,000:

ViewsGrossAfter a 10% feeAfter a 15% fee
800$0.00$0.00$0.00
4,700$4.00$3.60$3.40
25,000$25.00$22.50$21.25

When views count differs too. On Content Rewards a CPM clip earns for 7 days from approval and the payout is then held 3 days. On MetaClip a clip earns for as long as the campaign runs and each day’s earnings are held 7 days. The pay calculator runs any views, rate and cap.

How do you join a clipping campaign?

  1. Sign up on the platform and connect the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account you will post from.
  2. Pick a campaign and read its brief: what to show, what is banned, and how the clip must be labelled.
  3. Post the clip on your own account, with the paid-partnership label the campaign asks for.
  4. Submit the clip’s link or pick it from your connected account; the campaign approves or rejects it.
  5. Views on approved clips earn until the window, the cap or the budget ends; then withdraw.

The disclosure guide covers the labels, and views not counting the usual rejections.

What should you check before joining?

  • Written terms: the rate, cap, earning window and fee on the campaign page, not only in a Discord message.
  • A named funder: the brand or studio paying, and a platform holding the budget.
  • Payout method and minimum: whether it reaches your country and bank, and from what amount.
  • No fee to join: campaigns pay creators; one that charges you up front is something else.

Clipping jobs compares campaigns with salaried clipper roles, and Content Rewards vs MetaClip sets two platforms’ terms side by side.

Where are Roblox clipping campaigns?

MetaClip runs only Roblox campaigns, funded by the studios that make the games; Content Rewards also hosts Roblox campaigns from agencies such as BloxClips. MetaClip’s live campaigns show the rate, cap, platforms and dates on each public page. The earnings guide has what 37 creators earned across 230 approved clips.

Questions, answered

What is a clipping campaign?

A funded budget that pays creators per 1,000 views of short clips they post on their own accounts. The campaign sets the rate, the platforms, any cap per clip and the rules a clip must follow; creators submit clips and are paid for verified views.

Where can I find clipping campaigns?

On marketplaces that host them, such as Content Rewards, Vyro and Clipping.net for general campaigns and MetaClip for Roblox games, and in clipping Discord servers such as Clipping (121,236 members) and Clipster (107,683), where new campaigns are announced.

How much do clipping campaigns pay?

Listed rates run from about $0.45 to $2.50 per 1,000 views across the marketplaces above. Measured on MetaClip, the median approved Roblox clip earned $1.20 and 37 creators shared 230 approved clips by 22 October 2026. Most clips earn little and a few earn most; nothing here is a promise of income.

Do I need followers to join a clipping campaign?

Usually not. Clipping.net states no follower requirement, and MetaClip has no follower minimum unless a campaign sets one. Pay follows views, so a new account can earn from a clip that travels.

Are clipping campaigns legit?

The ones on established marketplaces pay out under published terms. Treat any campaign as unproven until its rate, cap, fee and payout method are written down and the funder is named; a campaign that asks you to pay to join is not a clipping campaign.
