How much do Roblox clippers make?

Real MetaClip payout data: median and top earnings per approved Roblox clip, how many reach 1,000 views, and the rate maths.

Updated ·

In short

  • MetaClip data, 22 October 2026: the median approved Roblox clip earned $1.20 and the median creator earned $2.52 across 3 clips. The top 10% of clips took 57% of all payouts.
  • 62% of approved clips reached the 1,000-view floor. Below it a clip earns nothing; above it, pay is floor(views ÷ 1,000) × the campaign rate, up to the campaign's per-clip cap.
  • Live MetaClip campaigns paid $0.25 to $2 per 1,000 views on 22 October 2026. MetaClip keeps 15% of gross; earnings unlock 7 days after approval.
  • For scale: the ForgeGUI campaign BloxClips runs on Content Rewards had paid $183,651 to 3,619 joined creators, $50.75 each on average, at $1 per 1,000 TikTok or Instagram views and $0.50 on YouTube, capped at $1,000 a clip.
  • Views, not followers, set the pay. One clip at 86,000 views earns more than 50 clips at 900.

How is a clip’s pay worked out?

Every per-view campaign pays a rate per 1,000 verified views. A clip earns floor(views ÷ 1,000) × rate, so views are counted in whole thousands, a clip under 1,000 views earns nothing, and a studio can set a cap on what one clip can earn. MetaClip then keeps 15% of the gross.

ViewsRate per 1,000GrossAfter 15% fee
800$1$0.00$0.00
4,700$1$4.00$3.40
25,000$1$25.00$21.25
86,000$1$86.00$73.10

Rates on MetaClip’s live campaigns ran from $0.25 to $2 per 1,000 views on 22 October 2026 (10 campaigns). The pay calculator runs any views and rate.

What did MetaClip clips actually earn?

MetaClip data, 22 October 2026: every approved clip on a per-view campaign since the first one on 28 March 2026, 230 clips across 7 campaigns, each payout converted to dollars at its campaign’s rate.

Per approved clipAll 230 clipsThe 142 over 1,000 views
Median earnings$1.20$1.50
Mean earnings$1.59$2.58
Top 10% earned at least$2.40$3.00
Best clip$34.90$34.90
Median views1,116—

62% of approved clips reached 1,000 views. The top 10% of clips took 57% of everything paid, which is the shape of every pay-per-view market: most clips earn one or two payout units, a few earn the rest. Total paid across these clips was $366.60; MetaClip’s campaigns are small in October 2026 and this page will be re-measured as they grow.

What did each creator make?

The same clips grouped by creator: 37 creators, a median of 3 approved clips each. 28 of 37 earned something; the rest had no clip over 1,000 views.

  • Median creator: $2.52 in total.
  • Mean creator: $9.91.
  • Top 10% of creators: $35.76 or more; the top creator made $90.59.
  • Concentration: the top 10% of creators took 59% of all payouts.

Which platform pays most?

Of the 230 approved clips, 162 were YouTube Shorts, 40 TikTok and 28 Instagram Reels. YouTube and Instagram clips clustered near the floor (best YouTube clip 5,617 views). TikTok had the spread: its top 10% passed 21,255 views and its best clip reached 86,684. The rate is the same per platform on most campaigns, so the platform that can run away with a clip is the one that pays.

What did the biggest Roblox campaign on Content Rewards pay?

BloxClips, a Roblox clipping agency, runs its campaigns on Content Rewards. Its ForgeGUI campaign page showed $183,651 spent of a $189,653 budget across 3,619 creators who joined, at $1 per 1,000 views on TikTok and Instagram and $0.50 on YouTube, with a $1,000 cap per clip. That is $50.75 per joined creator on average; the page hides its top earners until you join, so the spread is not public. Its other Roblox campaigns listed $0.80 to $1.50 per 1,000 views, with budgets from $1,000 to $17,000.

What moves a clipper’s income?

  1. Views per clip, not clip count. One clip at 86,000 views earns $86.00 at $1 per 1,000; fifty clips at 900 views earn nothing.
  2. The rate. A $2 campaign pays twice a $1 one for the same views. Rates are on every campaign card before you post.
  3. The cap. A per-clip cap turns a viral clip into a fixed amount; check it before choosing a campaign for a format that can run.
  4. Approval. Only approved clips earn, so the brief’s rules decide whether views count at all. The views-not-counting guide lists the usual rejections.

The pay rates guide covers fees, caps and withdrawal timing in more detail. This page is measured data, not a forecast: nothing here promises what any clip or creator will earn.
