In short
- Most Roblox clipping campaigns pay a fixed rate per 1,000 views (CPM), set by the studio and shown before you post.
- Roblox campaigns listed on Content Rewards in October 2026 paid $0.50–$1.50 per 1,000 views, with lower rates on YouTube Shorts and per-clip caps of $100–$1,000.
- On MetaClip, a per-view clip earns floor(views ÷ 1,000) × rate, so 100,000 views at $3 per 1,000 is $300 gross.
- MetaClip keeps 15% of gross earnings. There is no sign-up fee or subscription.
- Earnings clear 7 days after they accrue, then you withdraw to your bank through Stripe Connect or Wise.
- Campaigns can cap the payout per video, and every campaign stops paying when its budget runs out.
How is Roblox clipping pay calculated?
Every campaign pays on one of these models, and the campaign page says which:
- Per 1,000 views (CPM). The most common model. You earn the rate for every full 1,000 verified views: floor(views ÷ 1,000) × rate.
- Per clip. A fixed amount for each approved clip, whatever its views.
- Flat rate. One fixed payment for taking part.
Views are not self-reported. MetaClip reads each approved clip’s view count from the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube API every hour and adds earnings as the views grow.
How much do Roblox clipping campaigns pay right now?
Public Roblox campaigns we checked on 9 October 2026, across platforms. Rates are per 1,000 views and vary by campaign, so treat these as a snapshot, not a promise.
| Campaign (host) | TikTok / Reels | YouTube Shorts | Cap per clip |
|---|---|---|---|
| ForgeGUI (BloxClips) | $1.00 | $0.50 | $1,000 |
| Roblox App Clipping (ClipScales) | $1.00 | $0.85 | $150 ($100 on YouTube) |
| Nilo.io (ClipBlox) | $1.50 / $1.00 | $0.60 | Not stated |
General clipping marketplaces sit in a similar range: Content Rewards quotes $0.50 to $2 per 1,000 views as typical, and Vyro’s live listings showed $1.50–$2.00. On MetaClip, every campaign’s rate is on the live board before you make anything. For how the platforms differ on fees and payouts, see the best Roblox clipping platforms compared.
How much does a clip earn at different view counts?
What a single clip earns on a per-view campaign, before and after MetaClip’s 15% fee. Rates are per 1,000 views.
| Views | $1 / 1K | $2 / 1K | $3 / 1K | $5 / 1K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | $5$4.25 kept | $10$8.50 kept | $15$12.75 kept | $25$21.25 kept |
| 25,000 | $25$21.25 kept | $50$42.50 kept | $75$63.75 kept | $125$106.25 kept |
| 100,000 | $100$85 kept | $200$170 kept | $300$255 kept | $500$425 kept |
| 500,000 | $500$425 kept | $1,000$850 kept | $1,500$1,275 kept | $2,500$2,125 kept |
| 1,000,000 | $1,000$850 kept | $2,000$1,700 kept | $3,000$2,550 kept | $5,000$4,250 kept |
A worked example: a clip reaches 47,800 views on a $3 per 1,000 campaign. That is 47 full thousands, so it earns 47 × $3 = $141 gross and $119.85 after the fee.
What fees do clippers pay?
MetaClip takes 15% of gross earnings when a payout is made. That is the whole arrangement: no sign-up fee, no subscription and nothing deducted from clips that do not earn. Studios pay their own platform fee on top of the budget they fund, so it never comes out of your rate.
What limits how much a clip can earn?
Two limits can stop a clip earning more:
- Maximum payout per video. Some campaigns cap what one clip can earn. The cap is shown on the campaign page, and once a clip reaches it, extra views do not add to its earnings.
- The campaign budget. Every campaign has a fixed budget. When creators’ earnings use it up, the campaign closes. The campaign page shows how much is left, which is worth checking before you spend time on a clip.
When do clippers get paid?
- Your clip is approved by the studio and starts earning as views come in.
- Each day’s earnings sit in escrow for 7 days, giving view counts time to settle.
- After 7 days they move to your withdrawable balance.
- You withdraw to your bank through Stripe Connect, or through Wise where Stripe is not available.
How do you choose the best-paying campaign?
The highest rate is not always the best campaign. Before you clip, check:
- Rate × realistic views. $2 on a game you can make great clips for beats $5 on one you can’t.
- Budget left. A campaign with most of its budget used may close before your clip gets going.
- Payout cap. If your clips regularly go big, a low cap limits the upside.
- Platforms. A campaign that accepts TikTok, Reels and Shorts lets one edit earn on three posts.
Compare everything that is live on the campaigns board.
How can you earn more from clipping?
- Post more than one clip per campaign. Views per clip vary a lot; volume smooths it out.
- Cross-post where allowed. Each platform’s post earns on its own views.
- Join campaigns early, while the budget is full.
- Study your best clip and make the next one like it.
